What’s My Child Doing?
Cabin Leader: Lydia “Jenga”
Hello! I’m Jenga, and I am so excited to be your child’s Cabin Leader at Trout this week! I am from Sheffield, UK, and will be studying at Leeds Beckett University in September. I enjoy all things sports and traveling, and I love playing soccer. I am looking forward to participating in camp activities with our cabin, learning more about God, and building new friendships this week!
Cabin Leader Updates
Last night, the girls had a blast playing a game called Yee-Haw Mafia. We followed clues around camp and ended in second place!
For our first activity yesterday, the girls faced their fears on the high ropes course. It was so cool to see them encourage each other and challenge themselves!
At chapel last night, Tyler (our speaker this week) talked about the importance of humility. We looked at where it can be seen in the story of Daniel and were able to apply it to our everyday lives.
Yesterday, the girls in our cabin had a blast playing laser tag (pun intended) with the other cabins in our cluster!
Last night, we had so much fun playing a game called Mission Impossible. We got to sneak into different locations around camp, avoid being spotted, and earn points for our cluster.
At chapel last night, our speaker Tyler talked about identity and how we can find our identity and worth in Christ.
