From Wick's Desk - 2008 Reflections

This summer at Trout Lake Camps has been a true blessing from God. We have seen over 150 campers make a first time decision to follow Jesus and that has eternal impact in the Kingdom of God. Over 350 campers recognized they had not been following God as they desired so they rededicated their lives to Jesus. 18 kids and teens made a commitment to go into full-time Christian service. I don’t fully understand the implication of these spiritual decisions but it is my prayer that God would continue to shape the hearts and minds of these young believers.
I am thankful for all of you who partner with God’s ministry at Trout. Your prayer and financial support is being used by God to expand His Kingdom and that is exciting. Project 365, our dollar a day capital renovation campaign, went extremely well as we made major improvements to numerous areas around camp. We now enter into the second year of Project 365 looking for more individuals and couples to partner with us financially so that we can restore the exterior of Shalom House.
Thanks for your continue prayer support and may God bless you as we enter into this fall season.
On behalf of Christ and kids,
Wick
