High Ropes Course
Our high ropes course is the newest, most daring activity at Trout. Our course consists of 32 unique elements on two levels (24’ & 34’) and a quick-jump from the highest level. If weather conditions are too cold or there is snow or ice on the course, this activity may be closed.

Lake Jump & Sauna
We know how to have fun in the Winter! The idea of dipping into a frozen lake sounds so refreshing. We cut a hole in the ice near the Fish Cabins and let you jump into the water then warm up in the nearby Sauna.

Tubing
Try one of our tubing runs; whether you feel the need for speed, or enjoy twists and turns, there’s tubing for you. The fun continues on our rope tow so the ride up is just as fun as the way down. No matter your age, enjoy one of the best parts of winter.

Broomball
Broomball is a great winter sport that will get your group moving and enjoying the cold weather. Our rinks are located near the bottom of the tubing hill. With benches for spectators to enjoy the competition from the sidelines, and Trout provided equipment, many groups find their annual tournaments to be a highlight of their retreat.

Crate Stacking
One brave participant builds a tower from the floor to the ceiling by climbing and stacking milk crates. This is a team-belay activity and will certainly challenge your group communication.

Indoor Climbing Wall
Inside our Barn facility where many of our guests can be found hanging out, you can join in on fun, and heights! Our 35-foot climbing surface has four different routes where you can race your friends to the top or climb at your own pace. With a variety of routes that range from easy to difficult, the climbing wall holds fun for every level climber.

Black Light Dodge Ball
Flip the lights in Ridgeline and experience a neon glow that is sure to amplify your Dodgeball experience. This variation on the traditional game will ensure you have a great time and keep you coming back for more. Don’t forget to pack your brightly colored clothing.

Floor Hockey
This indoor sport is a classic camp activity. Get your group together for some exciting and friendly competition. All the sticks and pucks are here; all you have to bring is your A-game. Choose from either our Tall Timbers or Lower Rec Hall buildings for two different experiences.

Zip Line at The Point
The classic zip line found at the point is a three-story climb to the top of the tower. A smaller version of the Timber Ridge zip line, it is great for younger campers but also fun for adults.

Zip Line at Timber Ridge
Take a ride with 3 friends down our 780 foot zip line! This daring part of our Timber Ridge facility is a favorite. Enjoy the view from the top of the tower while looking over the Whitefish Chain, and then leap into the fun!

Paintball
This seasonal activity is fun for all ages and is a great group game that will definitely raise your heart rate! You will be crawling through our course while dodging flying paintballs. Be prepared to get dirty and be the last one standing.

Laser Tag
During this fast-paced, team activity you and another team will challenge each other for bragging rights. Take laser tag outdoors during the day or night. You’ll be running and hiding behind obstacles in order to lead your team to victory.

Bouldering Wall
The second story of our Barn includes a bouldering wall. If you aren’t ready to climb the large wall this is the perfect option. Test your strength, or even try to climb upside-down!

Campfires
These are great opportunities to sit and build relationships within your group or worship outside. There are several locations that we could host a campfire.

Snack & Espresso Bar
Located in the Barn, this hang out area provides a great space for games and snacks. We serve ice cream, shakes, Italian sodas, coffee and a variety of other treats. Grab a board game and enjoy.

Camp Store
There is a Camp Store located near the Dining Hall at The Point or in The Barn at Timber Ridge. The store has water bottles, mugs, Bibles, bags, sweatpants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, large assortment of toys, and much more.

And More...
If that isn’t enough activities, we also have fields for soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. Other activities that are staples here at Trout Lake Camps are mini golf, 9-square in the air, sand volleyball, slack lines, basketball, human foosball, Wiffle ball, and more!
