Spring Youth Retreats

How do we teach our youth to abstain when the world cries out, "be one of us?" After years of counseling youth, our speaker Bob Tissot found a void in the lessons our Christian youth have been taught. Our students know the answer "no, I won't be one of you" but not the, "why." We've been teaching the head knowledge but not reaching their hearts. The retreat is not to do purity but to be pure. Below is the name of the retreat.

  • Purity and Holiness

Purity and Holiness (7th-12 grade)

Date: Mar 23-25, 2012

Cost: $95 per person

One of the facts we need to come to terms with is our young people are bombarded on a daily basis with opinions on how they should live their lives in order to best serve themselves. Where then are they going to hear the truth? Where are they going to take time to study and reflect on God's Word especially in the critical area of sexuality?

Usually God is portrayed as a killjoy who is out to deprive us of anything that feels even remotely close to satisfying. The truth is God is our heavenly Father who wants the best for us, His children.

Purity is a blessing...not a curse.
